I Hate Sundays (Anxiety P.O.V)

Mondays are probably the most hated day of the week by most people but (´cuz I like to be different) I hate Sundays. The end of a week and the start of another in a blink of an eye. It means the start of more 5 days of work, stress, socializing, dealing with people you don’t like, doing something you don’t like, basically there should be no mondays. But on a person suffering from anxiety, the worst day of the week is actually sunday.

Anxiety/Panic attacks

Anxiety is not the same thing as feeling anxious. Normal people will feel anxious when you have a test or you like someone and are nervous to speak to them. But anxiety is much more real and different, for everyone. It’s when you over think and over analyze every little thing. You are nervous about how each and every thing you say effects the person you’re saying it to or even how it will affect you.

Patience

Patience is a virtue everyone should have because if you live in this world, as God as my witness, you’ll need plenty of it. For those who seen to need it the most have it the least, Sick people are often told “Have patience.” “It will end.” “It will get better” but in our heads that’s something we just don’t believe in because the pain is so strong and has been for so long and it seems that no matter how much we keep on waiting to get better, the suffering keeps on prevailing.

Patience is a gift and we are willingly living our lives constantly waiting for something that will eventually happen and either make us happy or sad but sometimes the wait for that “something happy” it’s just too long however it is not wasted time. Throughout this time period we will learn important life lessons and discover new things about ourselves which will allow us to use this waiting time as a chance to improve the way we are, how we see things around us and how we deal with certain things in order to be more prepared in the future.

Path

Knowing who you are, what you are capable of and just simply trusting your gut on something, can really make a difference on how you train yourself into being able to survive in this world of “equals” and still be you.

Who am I? Can I do this? Will I succeed at it?

Only we can answer these question, no one else, no matter how much we want someone to do it for us. I am, myself, searching for the answers and although it is taking a long time, I’m slowly filling in the blanks. The way I see the world changed as well as how i behave towards it, I stopped doing certain things and caring a little less about what others think but at a certain moment I also stopped recognizing the person I saw looking back at me through the mirror. I needed to find my path again because I was no longer the same person I once was.

Who is staring back at me as I look through the mirror?
“It’s me!”, I say with confidence.

Some days I may not be so certain about it but as each day passes I regain a little part of who I used to be as well as a new and better one. It will take time, it will mean facing a lot of challenges but it is part of finding or way and in the end we have to believe that it will all be worth it 🙂

Pets: My baby

They say dogs are a men’s best friend, they keep you company and can tell when something is wrong. This couldn’t be more true as I have a little (big) dog of my own whom I love deeply and has helped me through my worst times.

His name is Pirata (Pirate in english) and he is my baby boy.

This different colored eyed guy has been for my side since September 2006 and I has made me happy every single day since I first saw his little puppy eyes 8 years ago (9 this September). He is 50 in dog years and the most weird, derp, loving, awesome dog ever and there’s so much I can say about my love for him so here’s some of my favorite pics of him. ❤

Time

Time.
Past-Present-Future

From the day we are conceived our clock starts ticking and we learn from a young age that there are phases we’re going to go through and stuff we are gonna have to do. School, college, job and starting a family are just some of the check points we’ll have go by in our life journey.

But what if that clock broke? Then what?

Here’s the thing, we are told all of this and that it is not going to be easy but one important thing that it is not told, is that you can stop ,and take a breath.

Did you mean to break it? Or was the journey so tiring that you had no other choice but to just sit down and say “no more” ?

Stop and take a deep breath.

You will reach the end, you may not have passed all the check points but you will reach the end and you should not be judge by the time that it toke you to do such. Everyone has their clock, everyone has their journey ahead, and you have some control of that clock yourself. Remember that.

Probably won’t post everyday and when i do post it most likely be random photos i toke that day but hey, gotta empty out this head of mine some how right?

So enjoy having a little tour around my mind and hope i don’t scare or most likely bore you :p
